Anonymous Operations announced the launch of Operation Stonewall, something that is beginning to become described as the digital Stonewall Riot, a title not used lightly! The original Stonewall Riot was an event that took place June 1969 in New York City as one of the nation's most impactful LGBTQ+ moments in history, and ever since Pride Month is celebrated the month of June. This new Operation Stonewall is meant to be a digital second Stonewall riot and so far, has started by sending some very strong messages to people actively working to strip basic human rights from LGBTQ+ people. These message stick to the facts and get right to the point and as a Trans Woman, I personally believe this has been LONG overdue and I am so glad to see this becoming a thing.
Tennessee has been a flagship for the Neo Nazi movement with an actual Nazi population rapidly growing and extremely inhumane Bills being passed into law Anonymous are posting the news that people and most media have let go ignored for many years.
In their first series of strikes to the figures heading Neo Nazi ideals in US State Government Anonymous has focused on pointing out hypocrisy in the Neo Nazi ranks, exposing Governer Bill Lee and Rep. Nate Schatzline (R-TX) as doing exactly what they find so morally abhorrent that they either have criminalized it or are actively trying to. Now we aren't talking about the usual Republican hypocrisy that is filled with sexual assault allegations galore, no we are talking about how the Republicans are actively working to erase the culture, history, education, healthcare and very existence of Trans, GNC and Non-Binary people alongside with Drag Queens.
Earlier today Anonymous uploaded a video of a Black Trans Woman being abused by multiple police officers in Tennessee but also showed that this was happening just steps away from Governer Bill Lee. The abuse this woman receives in this video shakes me to the core to see that this is actually happening to people already. You can see in the video the officers essentially rip this womans clothes off as she is simply asking what she is being stripped and shoved into the ground for and being arrested for. In no way shape or form is this acceptable and all involved need to resign immediately.
Not only are Anonymous focusing on the currently key figures in the Anit LGBTQ movement, but they are showing who contributed to its growth and continued hypocrisy of these Neo Nazi Fascists. Below you can see a thread on George Rekers, a violent conversation therapy pioneer and advocate. In this thread Rekers is exposed for paying for a male escort essentially and attempted to label him as his bag boy assistant. Unfortunately for Rekers he was filmed doing all the work he claimed to hire the boy for. In contract there is a service provided labeled as a massage to be same as the assistant at home, this massage was said to be a sexual one according to the boy featured not carrying Rekers bags.
This is a difficult time to be living through and unfortunately it isn't going to get any easier. They banned our history being taught, they banned books that are inclusive to our community, they are making it to be illegal to be yourself walking down the street using drag queen story time as a poor scapegoat. If Republicans wanted to save children they would look into the Church, they would look into Gun Control because there are more mass shootings then there are days in the year already. Instead, these Nazis are attempting to erase us and now that arrests have started, the only other step they have to take camps with pink triangles on them. Make no mistake, this is a war on the LGBTQ existence.
